Sourcing
Buying relationships with farmer groups and popping units across Darbhanga, Madhubani and Purnia give first access to crop lots.
Processing
Our Darbhanga plant and contracted partner units run one specification, with QC presence on the floor for grading, roasting and packing.
Export
Our own team handles the commercial set, phytosanitary, origin and health certificates rather than outsourcing it.
Specification
Grade, moisture, breakage and packing are agreed in a signed specification sheet so there is no ambiguity at inspection.
Communication
Every enquiry from a genuine trade buyer receives a substantive response, including when we cannot serve the requirement.
Transparency
Registration certificates, lab reports and references are shared before you commit capital.
Focus
We do not chase every agri commodity. Depth in one category is what keeps grade consistency achievable.
Short, direct answers to the questions we get most often from importers, distributors and brand owners.
Bevibes is the export brand of Bevive Retail Pvt. Ltd., an Indian company that supplies makhana (fox nuts) to importers, distributors, supermarket chains, snack manufacturers and private label brands around the world. We buy raw makhana directly from farming clusters in the Mithila belt of Bihar, process and grade it at our manufacturing plant in Darbhanga and contracted partner units, and ship it under our own quality and documentation protocol. Bevibes is the brand name buyers see on the packaging; Bevive Retail Pvt. Ltd. is the legal entity that signs the contract and appears on the export documents.
Because we behave like a manufacturer, not a middleman. You get the same grade in every container because lots are bought against a written specification and checked before packing, not sorted after complaints. You get complete export paperwork — invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, lab report — prepared in-house rather than outsourced. And you get one point of contact who knows your market's labelling rules, so the shipment clears customs instead of sitting at the port.
Bevive Retail Pvt. Ltd. holds an Importer Exporter Code (IEC), an FSSAI licence, APEDA registration, GST registration and Startup India recognition. Processing runs at our Darbhanga plant and contracted partner units operating ISO 22000 / HACCP food safety systems, and organic lots are supplied against NPOP and NOP certification. For each shipment we provide a certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate and a third-party lab report covering moisture, aflatoxin, pesticide residue and microbiological limits. Buyer-appointed inspection agencies such as SGS or Bureau Veritas are welcome at any stage.
Bevibes is the export brand of Bevive Retail Pvt. Ltd., an Indian private limited company with a corporate office in Thane, Maharashtra and a registered office in Gurgaon, Haryana.
Yes — our manufacturing plant operates at the New Industrial Estate, Sundarpur, Darbhanga, in the heart of the makhana belt. Contracted partner units add capacity under the same specification, supervision and quality protocol, so grade control is never limited to a single unit.

Yes. Buyer visits to the processing and packing operation can be arranged with notice, and we support virtual factory walkthroughs and third-party pre-shipment inspection.
We share company registration documents, certification copies, export references and lab reports before contracting. Third-party inspection agencies are welcome at your cost.
Ask for registration documents, certification copies and recent lab reports. We would rather answer diligence questions early than late.
