    Everything a buyer usually asks

Short, direct answers to the questions we get most often from importers, distributors and brand owners.

    Who is Bevibes?

Bevibes is the export brand of Bevive Retail Pvt. Ltd., an Indian company that supplies makhana (fox nuts) to importers, distributors, supermarket chains, snack manufacturers and private label brands around the world. We buy raw makhana directly from farming clusters in the Mithila belt of Bihar, process and grade it at our manufacturing plant in Darbhanga and contracted partner units, and ship it under our own quality and documentation protocol. Bevibes is the brand name buyers see on the packaging; Bevive Retail Pvt. Ltd. is the legal entity that signs the contract and appears on the export documents.

Do you offer private label and OEM manufacturing?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. You send us your brand artwork and we handle everything else: grade selection, roasting and seasoning to your flavour brief, pouch printing, nutrition panel and label compliance for your market, barcoding, cartoning and export. You own the brand entirely — we do not sell your artwork, recipe or pack design to anyone else, and we are happy to sign an NDA and an exclusivity agreement for your territory before development starts.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

For loose bulk makhana the practical minimum is 500 kg for air freight and one container load for sea freight — around 6–8 MT in a 20ft container and 14–16 MT in a 40ft high cube, since makhana is very light and cubes out before it weighs out. For private label retail packs the MOQ is 1,000–5,000 units per SKU depending on pack format, driven by the printed-film minimum rather than by us. First-time buyers can start with a smaller trial shipment while a relationship is being established.

    Segment FAQs

Do you sell to individual consumers?

    +

No. Bevibes is a business-to-business exporter. The smallest commercially viable order is a wholesale trial shipment; we do not fulfil consumer or single-carton orders.

We are an importer without warehousing. Can you still supply us?

    +

Yes. We can ship direct to your customer's warehouse under a neutral packing arrangement, with your documentation, so you trade without holding stock.

Can supermarkets buy shelf-ready packs directly?

    +

Yes. Retail chains typically buy own-label packs through our private label programme, or branded packs through their nominated importer of record.

What do food manufacturers usually order?

    +

Manufacturers buy whole 3–4 suta pops, broken pieces, or milled powder and flour in 25 kg sacks, specified by mesh size, moisture and microbiology limits.

Do you handle Ramadan, Diwali and other seasonal peaks?

    +

Yes, provided volumes are booked ahead. Seasonal programmes should be confirmed eight to twelve weeks before your in-market date to secure crop allocation and freight.
